Production Control Analyst Experienced, Wichita Falls, TX

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, manages and controls the processing of programs and peripheral equipment on mainframe and/or distributed computer systems to ensure the highest levels of service and system availability are attained.  Serves as trustee to ensure adequate data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes.


Accountabilities:


  • Follow HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and related work instructions and assist implimentation of HSE regulations and policies
  • Help drive the lean enterprise system in Scheduling processes
  • Regular reporting and continuous improvement of business data and metrics as: system data accuracy, schedule attainment, on-time delivery to customers, inventory targets, project management, etc.
  • Produces work of high quality under high standards always observing the company core values.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Establishes production runs, ensuring that appropriate job control language, run documentation and data files are available. 
  • Work with the production and scheduling team to manage the Outside Processes (OSP) program.
  • Create and maintain Routings, Work Orders, Part Numbers, etc. for engineering, sales, scheduling and production.  
  • Performs problem identification, escalation and resolution. 
  • Communicates status of operations to allow for immediate response to service disruptions. 
  • Engages with business leadership to quantify and articulate the business impact of data quality issues. 
  • Assesses the current state of data quality within their scope of responsibility and assist to create plans for continuously improving data quality. 
  • Works to achieve established target goals for data quality improvement and identifies optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues to achieve targets. 
  • Works within and beyond area of control to implement improvement approaches. 
  • Identifies data quality metrics and executes data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality. 
  • Monitors, tracks and reports ongoing data quality levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:


  • High School Diploma required.  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Management or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • 1-4 Years of experience in Data Management, Scheduling, Supply Chain or Materials Management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience utilizing MRP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Service Center Customer Service Rep Experienced, Farmersville, IL

Job Summary:


Responds to customer inquiries via telephone or email to provide problem resolution in accordance with the Organization's service standards. 


Accountabilities:


  • Act as a liaison between the customer and Tranter, Inc. in communicating any expediting, shipping instructions, and inspection requirements.
  • Meet or exceed department key metrics
  • Actively participate in company meetings, suggesting better methods to handle current customer service processes and improve the use of company resources
  • Customer  First Responsibilities: "Face to Customer"; Ambassador to Tranter
  • Help drive the lean enterprise system in Customer Service processes

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Sales Order Entry, Work Order Setup/BOM & Routings; Dating of Customer Orders; Expediting Order Process Flow.
  • Customer Shipping  logistics: creation of BOL & Schedule shipments
  • Order Invoicing Customer  Service  & Support -  Routine  Contact  with  Customers
  • Quick Base: Work Order Setup, Maintain Integrity of Customer Demand & Data transfer Order entry & support to Inventory Control Planning efforts
  • QSI data collection for inventory planning & control
  • Receives and/or places telephone calls which are predominantly routine, but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. 
  • Answer customer telephone, email, and/or fax inquiries, orders, service needs and complaints. 
  • Respond to customer inquiries where applicable or direct to sales representatives or technical/service areas to provide problem resolution in cordance with the Organization's service standards. 
  • Process new orders, issuing change orders to existing orders and expediting of orders when requested by the customer 
  • Review customer’s purchase order to verify customer’s requirements and take exception to the contract when applicable.
  • Maintain customer service order files in accordance with Tranter, Inc. SOP’s.
  • Timely communication with the customer regarding order status, production or shipping holds, drawing approvals, special requirements, etc.
  • Liaise with sales and technical staff to keep them up-to-date with customer needs.
  • Maintain detailed and current knowledge of the company's products and services. 
  • Analyze customer service needs for communication to service and technical departments.
  • Work with various teams such as Finance, Product Engineering, and Production Scheduling to distribute and follow customer orders as per the SOP.
  • Mailing / distribution of product drawings in accordance with customer’s requirements.
  • Support as needed: Inside Sales Quoting; Accounts Payable; Inventory Control/Planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in Customer Service or related field

Buyer Planner Experienced, Wichita Falls, TX

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, responsible for buying necessary materials and development of the schedule for production of finished units, sub-assemblies and manufactured components.

Accountabilities:

  • Produces production schedules balancing customer’s required dates and factory capacity constraints
  • Regular reporting and continuous improvement of business metrics as: supplier lead times, supplier on-time delivery, schedule attainment, on-time delivery to customers, inventory targets, project management
  • Help drive the lean enterprise system in ERP and the buying/planning processes
  • Produces work of high quality under high standards always observing the company core competencies

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing the sales orders, ensuring the availability of materials for manufacturing to commence production and coordinating production schedules. 
  • Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
  • Assess supplier's products to ensure they that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.
  • Analyze and evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals, or quotations; negotiate prices and delivery conditions; and commit to purchases (within established limits of authority) with terms that are in the organization's best interest.
  • Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, purchase requisitions, orders, and other documents to co-ordinate purchasing activities with the organization's current and anticipated demand for goods and materials.
  • Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and goods supplied; follow-up the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery; and communicate status of orders with internal customers.
  • Develop and implement production plans to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards. 
  • Use engineering plans, contracts, and production specifications to produce schedules and production plans and estimate the human resources, tools, and equipment needed to manufacture products. 
  • Monitor production activity and analyze production data so that the flow of materials is timed meet production requirements. 
  • Adjust schedules to accommodate backlogs, design changes, and material or labor shortages. 
  • Prepare work orders for production or purchase requests based on production schedules. 
  • Evaluate production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes and calculate machine and operator loads. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Competencies required:
